How the price is calculated
- Direct cost per visit = (time on site + drive time) in hours × labor cost, plus materials.
- Overhead and profit are set as shares of the selling price, so price = direct cost ÷ (1 − overhead % − margin %).
- Annual contract value = price per visit × visits per year, and the monthly amount is that divided by 12.

How should I price recurring pest control service?+
Start from your real cost per visit: technician time on site and driving, multiplied by your loaded labor rate, plus materials. Then set the price so overhead and your target profit are covered as shares of the price, and multiply by visits per year for the annual contract value.
Why does drive time belong in the price?+
Technicians are paid while driving, so every minute between stops is a real cost of the visit. Ignoring it is the most common reason recurring routes look busy but earn little. Denser routes lower this cost per stop.
Should I charge per visit or monthly?+
Many recurring service companies sell the annual plan and bill it as an even monthly amount on autopay. Customers see a smaller, predictable charge and the business gets steadier cash flow and fewer missed payments.
Does this calculator use average market prices?+
