SMS Terms & Opt-In

The messaging program
Program name: FIELDIVERSE service messaging. The FIELDIVERSE platform is operated by Fieldiverse LLC.
FIELDIVERSE is a field service management platform used by pest control, HVAC, and similar home-service companies. Messages are sent by the service company to its own existing customers who provided their mobile number when scheduling service, creating an account, or paying an invoice. Messages confirm and remind customers of scheduled service appointments, notify them when a technician is en route with an estimated arrival time, deliver service completion results, and send billing and payment reminders. Customers can reply directly to ask questions or reschedule, and company staff respond from a shared inbox. This is a two-way conversational and notification program between a service business and its established customers — it is not marketing, promotional, or lead-generation messaging.
Who sends, who receives, and why
- Who sends: the service business (for example a pest control or HVAC company) that uses FIELDIVERSE, from a phone number assigned to that business.
- Who receives: that business's own existing customers, who provided their mobile number and agreed to be texted at it.
- Why: to coordinate and service the appointments those customers booked, and to notify them about their invoices and payments.
Message types
- Appointment confirmations and reminders
- Technician dispatch and estimated arrival updates
- Service completion results and follow-up
- Invoice, billing and payment reminders
- Two-way replies with the company's support staff
Who FIELDIVERSE is in this program
FIELDIVERSE provides messaging technology to independent service businesses. FIELDIVERSE is not the sender of those businesses' messages: each company texts its own customers from its own phone number, under its own business name and its own carrier registration. Agreeing to receive texts from one company never grants consent to any other company using FIELDIVERSE.
How customers opt in
Customers opt in through the service business's own dedicated public SMS consent page, hosted at fieldiverse.com/sms/{company} — for example fieldiverse.com/sms/urbanxterminator. That page is publicly accessible without signing in and shows the company's name, a mobile number field, and an unchecked consent checkbox that the customer must actively select before submitting.
The consent box is never pre-checked, consent is never a condition of purchase, and consent is never inferred from a customer simply providing a phone number. Each opt-in is stored permanently with the exact wording agreed to, the wording version, the page address, and the date and time, scoped to the individual company.
I agree to receive text messages from [Company name] regarding appointment reminders, scheduling updates, technician arrival notifications, service updates, billing notifications, and customer service communications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

How consent is captured
FIELDIVERSE records consent in two places, both with the same unchecked checkbox and the same disclosure wording:
1. Public online sign-up
Each company has its own public page at fieldiverse.com/sms/{company}. The customer enters their mobile number and must actively check the consent box before the form will submit. The box is never pre-checked, and consent is never a condition of purchase.
Example: fieldiverse.com/sms/urbanxterminator
2. Staff record consent during scheduling or intake
When office staff create or edit a customer record, they see the same consent checkbox shown below. Staff must check the box to record consent; leaving it unchecked means the number is not texted. The exact wording, including STOP/HELP instructions and the not-a-condition-of-purchase line, is stored permanently with the consent record.

Sample messages
- “Hi Maria, this is Green Shield Pest Control. Reminder: your quarterly service is scheduled for Tue Sep 8 between 9am-12pm. Reply YES to confirm, NO to reschedule, or STOP to opt out.”
- “Green Shield Pest Control: Your technician David is on the way to 118 Oak St and should arrive around 10:20am. Reply here with any questions. Reply STOP to opt out.”
- “Thanks Maria! Green Shield Pest Control received your payment of $145.00. Reply here for a receipt or questions, or call (845) 555-0119. Reply STOP to opt out.”
Opting out and getting help
- STOP: Reply STOP to any message to be unsubscribed immediately. The platform records the opt-out and blocks all further messages to that number. Reply START to resubscribe.
- HELP: Reply HELP for an automated reply with the company name, support contact, and opt-out instructions.
- Rates and frequency: Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies with your service activity.
- Support: support@fieldiverse.com.
