Cookie Notice

This notice explains how FIELDIVERSE (operated by Fieldiverse LLC) uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies on our website and in the FIELDIVERSE platform. It supplements our Privacy Notice.

1. What these technologies are

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We also use browser local storage, which works similarly but keeps data on your device rather than sending it with each request. We refer to both as "cookies" below.

2. Categories we use

• Strictly necessary (always on). Authentication and session tokens that keep you signed in, workspace selection, security and abuse-prevention signals, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choice. The Service cannot function without these, so they are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a service you asked for and do not require consent.
• Preferences (always on, no tracking). Interface settings such as sidebar state, schedule view, and offline caches of your own workspace data.
• Analytics (optional, consent-based). Aggregate usage and reliability data — pages viewed, feature usage, error diagnostics — used to fix faults and improve the product. These are only set if you select "Accept all".

We do not use advertising, retargeting, social-media, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising.

3. Third parties

Some cookies are set by providers who operate parts of the Service on our behalf, including our cloud hosting and authentication provider, our payment processor Stripe (checkout and fraud prevention), and mapping providers used inside the technician workspace. These are limited to delivering those functions.

4. Retention

Session cookies expire when you close your browser or sign out. Authentication tokens typically last up to 30 days unless you sign out sooner. Your cookie preference is kept for 12 months, after which we will ask again. Analytics identifiers are retained for no more than 12 months.

5. Changing your choices

You can change your decision at any time using the button below, or clear cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in.

6. Do Not Track and global privacy signals

We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where your browser sends them by treating them as an opt-out of optional analytics cookies.
