This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal information when you use the FIELDIVERSE website, mobile application, field service management platform, customer portals, communications services, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
FIELDIVERSE provides software to service businesses that use the platform to manage customers, appointments, technicians, communications, invoices, payments, documents, and other business activities.
By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Our Role
FIELDIVERSE may act as either a data controller or service provider depending on the information involved.
For information relating directly to FIELDIVERSE account holders, website visitors, prospective customers, and users of our Services, Fieldiverse LLC generally determines how that information is processed.
When a business using FIELDIVERSE enters, uploads, receives, or manages information about its own customers, employees, technicians, prospects, or other individuals, FIELDIVERSE generally processes that information on behalf of that business.
Each business using FIELDIVERSE is responsible for obtaining any permissions and consents required to collect and use information relating to its customers, including any consent required for telephone calls, email, SMS, or MMS communications.

Depending on how you interact with FIELDIVERSE, we may collect the following categories of information.

We use this information to create, maintain, authenticate, and secure FIELDIVERSE accounts.

Businesses using FIELDIVERSE may enter information such as:

- Notes
- Photos
- Documents

FIELDIVERSE processes this information to provide the Services requested by the business using the platform.

Full payment card information is processed by our payment processor and is not stored directly by FIELDIVERSE.

Location information is used for legitimate field-service functions such as dispatching, routing, scheduling, and crew coordination.
FIELDIVERSE does not use precise device location information for advertising.

We may disclose non-SMS-related business information in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law and appropriate confidentiality protections.
IMPORTANT SMS AND MOBILE INFORMATION EXCEPTION
The sharing provisions above do not apply to text messaging originator opt-in data and consent.
FIELDIVERSE does not sell, rent, share, transfer, disclose, or otherwise provide mobile telephone numbers, SMS or MMS opt-in information, or text messaging consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing, promotional, advertising, lead-generation, or resale purposes.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, affiliates, lead generators, or other businesses for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
SMS consent is specific to the business and messaging program for which the consumer provided consent.
Consent to receive messages from one business using FIELDIVERSE does not constitute consent to receive messages from FIELDIVERSE, another FIELDIVERSE customer, another business, an affiliate, or any unrelated organization.
SMS consent cannot be sold, rented, transferred, assigned, or passed from one business to another.
Telecommunications and infrastructure providers, including providers used to transmit SMS or MMS messages, may process mobile information only as necessary to provide the requested messaging service. Such providers are not authorized by FIELDIVERSE to use mobile information or SMS consent for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
5. SMS and MMS Messaging
Businesses using FIELDIVERSE may use the platform to communicate with their own customers through SMS or MMS.
These communications may include:
- Appointment confirmations
- Appointment reminders
- Rescheduling notices
- Technician dispatch notifications
- Technician en-route notifications
- Technician arrival notifications
- Service updates
- Service completion notifications
- Invoice notifications
- Payment reminders
- Payment confirmations
- Receipt notifications
- Account-related notifications
- Customer support communications
- Responses to customer questions
Unless a separate marketing program with separate consent has been established, FIELDIVERSE messaging is intended for transactional, informational, service-related, and customer-support communications.
6. SMS Consent
Customers must provide consent before receiving messages where consent is required by applicable law or carrier rules.
SMS consent must be knowingly and voluntarily provided to the specific business that will send the messages.
Providing consent to receive SMS or MMS messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.
When website or application forms are used to collect SMS consent, the messaging consent option should be presented separately and must not be pre-selected.
Users must be able to decline SMS consent while still completing the underlying transaction, account registration, service request, or other applicable action where required.
The sending business is responsible for maintaining appropriate evidence of consent.
7. SMS Message Frequency and Charges
Message frequency varies based on customer activity, appointments, services, account activity, and communications with the sending business.
Message and data rates may apply.
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. SMS Opt-Out
Recipients may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying:

- UNSUBSCRIBE
- CANCEL
- END
- QUIT
After an opt-out request is received, a confirmation message may be sent confirming that the recipient has been unsubscribed.
No additional messages from that messaging program should be sent unless the recipient subsequently provides valid consent to receive messages again.
Where supported, recipients may reply START to resubscribe.

10. SMS Information We Retain
To provide messaging functionality and maintain compliance records, FIELDIVERSE may process or retain:

- Error status
- Media attachments

- Opt-out records
- Messaging preferences
Opt-out records may be retained as necessary to ensure that opt-out requests continue to be honored.
SMS information is not used by FIELDIVERSE for third-party advertising, lead generation, or resale.
11. Artificial Intelligence Features
Certain FIELDIVERSE features may use artificial intelligence services to assist with tasks such as document generation, customer support, business assistance, service recommendations, image analysis, or other platform functionality.
Information submitted to these features may be processed by technology providers acting on behalf of FIELDIVERSE.
We seek to use service providers under terms that restrict their ability to use customer information for unrelated purposes.
Users should not intentionally submit unnecessary sensitive personal information to AI-assisted features.
Artificial intelligence output may contain errors and should be reviewed before being relied upon.
FIELDIVERSE does not use artificial intelligence to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning individuals.

- Backup information according to our backup and deletion schedules

Businesses using FIELDIVERSE are responsible for the personal information they collect from their own customers and employees.
FIELDIVERSE processes this information according to the business customer's instructions and the functionality of the Services.
If you are a customer of a service business using FIELDIVERSE and would like to access, correct, or delete information maintained by that business, you should first contact the business directly.
FIELDIVERSE may assist the business in responding to valid privacy requests.
16. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including the right to:
- Request access to personal information
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of personal information
- Request a copy of certain personal information
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where FIELDIVERSE or its service providers maintain operations.
Where legally required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
19. Children's Privacy
FIELDIVERSE is a business-oriented service and is not directed to children under the age of 16.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 16.
If we learn that information from a child under 16 has been collected inappropriately, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

21. Business Transfers
If Fieldiverse LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of some or all of its assets, certain business information may be transferred as permitted by law.
However, SMS and MMS originator opt-in data and messaging consent are excluded from any transfer for marketing or promotional use and may not be sold, rented, transferred, or provided to another entity for such purposes.
Any successor operating FIELDIVERSE would remain subject to applicable privacy obligations regarding information it lawfully receives.

We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to:
