Cut no-shows with better scheduling

A missed appointment costs the drive both ways plus the slot you could have sold. Most of them are preventable with three messages.
Narrow the window, honestly
An all-day window guarantees somebody isn't home. A two-hour window you can actually hit beats a one-hour window you miss. Set windows from real historical on-site times rather than optimism.
Three messages, no more
Confirmation at booking, a reminder the day before with a one-tap reschedule link, and an on-the-way notification when the technician departs the previous stop. That sequence removes most no-shows, and the on-the-way message does the heaviest lifting.
- Every message must include a way to reschedule without calling.
- Text messaging needs documented opt-in and STOP/HELP handling to stay compliant.
- Skip reminders for exterior-only work where nobody needs to be home.
Make the exterior-only distinction
A surprising share of recurring service doesn't require access at all. Marking those jobs as exterior-only turns a potential no-show into a completed stop and removes the reminder entirely.
